Eco-yards™ Spray

Eco-yards™ Spray is a liquid rich with soil micro-organisms and organic fertilizers. When sprayed on your soil and plants it feeds them and adds to the number and variety of micro-organisms present on leaf surfaces and in the soil.

These tiny micro-organisms (beneficial bacteria, fungus, nematodes and protozoa) store nutrients and interact with plants at their roots and on leaf surfaces to deliver those nutrients to the plants. Soil micro-organisms are the basis of all life on the planet. Everything eats plants! Tilling and digging up the soil and using chemical fertilizers and pesticides have depleted soil life by about half of what it was a hundred years ago.

Eco-yards spray acts like a probiotic for your yard. Spraying Eco-yards™ Spray on your yard not only acts as a fertilizer to your soil and plants, it builds the micro-organic eco-system in your yard so that your plants can get the nutrients they need from your soil. Your plants will be healthier. Healthy plants tend to resist diseases and troublesome insects.

Quick Enhance - once a month on a regular-sized City yard (June-October).

Tailored Enhance - spraying intervals tailored to the needs of your yard, soil biology and chemistry tests, and a spray designed by Laureen for the soil conditions on your property. Investment: Call Laureen at 969-1176 to discuss.

If you have a property larger than a regular-sized City yard, prices will be quoted for your property.

How is it Made?

Eco-yards™ Spray is made by taking quality compost, putting it in clean water, adding lots of great organic nutrients (e.g. kelp, fish hydrolysate), and aerating it heavily for 24 hours or more. The micro-organisms in the compost multiply very quickly, due to the high oxygen levels, to make a rich soup of micro-organic life that will really perk up all the plants in your yard and build long-term health for your soil and plants.

What if my Yard is Really in Poor Shape?

Extra programs to complement the Eco-yards™ Spray may be helpful if your yard is really in poor shape from years of chemical use or neglect. Restoring organic matter in your soil will give the micro-organisms in the Eco-yards™ Spray a home and some nutrients to feed to your plants. We offer services that include:

adding compost to your lawn and beds
spreading additional organic fertilizers.
